We are fully into summertime and our brewery project has achieved some major milestones. Here's an update with some pictures for you to enjoy.
Construction Progress
Our front patio has been poured and work continues on the railings, stairs, ramp and lighting installs. This area was always an important part of the brewery design, because we wanted to give our guests a relaxing outdoor area to enjoy our lagers and ales.
Since our last post, the new brewhouse building has started to take shape. The walls were built in the back parking lot and lifted over the property by Sky Point Crane. We helped the Bloxdorf team rig and steer these walls into place.
This week, the team has been busy installing the trusses and roofing materials. It's exciting to see so much progress and our imaginations coming to life.
Timeline Update
A quick update on our opening timeline:
While we don't have an exact date, we can tell you that we will be opening in the Fall of 2020. Our brewhouse equipment will start rolling in next month. This will include an ABS Commercial steam-fired 15 BBL two-vessel brewhouse, along with four 15 BBL Fermentors, and one 15 BBL Brite Tank. We will also have a 30 BBL Cold Liquor Tank (allowing us to cast-out lagers in the appropriate amount of time).
Our Wild Goose WG2 canning line will be delivered in September, so that we can have fresh cans available on opening day.
