As we approach the new year, the brewery buildout is finally coming to an end.
We have entered the final phase of this construction journey, and are just weeks away from becoming operational.
Brewhouse Updates: Our brewing system and tanks from ABS are fully-functional. The steam boiler and glycol chiller are online for all of our heating and cooling needs (for now and into the distant future). These last pieces of the puzzle will allow us to brew our first batches of beers to share with you.
Taproom Updates: The maple floors have been sanded and re-finished to bring new life to the original Blawnox Post Office character they once possessed. The furniture has arrived and will be assembled, along with custom shelving for glassware and merchandise. The restrooms have been fitted with classy tile and custom sinks, while the final fixtures are positioned.
We are excited to announce the addition of Old Thunder Brewing Company to Facebook. Going live on Facebook allows us to share detailed brewery updates across multiple platforms in a timely-manner. Follow us if you are interested in this kind of stuff.
We will be announcing our opening plans very soon. With this in mind, the safety and well-being of our team and our guests is the top priority. When we open the doors at 340 Freeport Road, every health and safety guideline will be followed.
